Appointech Inc., an ISO9001 company, provide high quality designs and cost-effective manufacturing capability of fiber optic modules for the fast -growing fiber-optic communication industry.

Our Major Product lines include OSA modules of LD, LED, PIN and PIN-TIA; transceiver modules for ATM, SONET/SDH, and Giga-bit Ethernet; and test instruments such as stabilized LED, LD light sources, and power meters.

Product Lines

Our transceiver modules incorporate name-brand TO-18 / TO-46 1310 nm LEDs or TO-46 850 nm VCSELs, InGaAs Pin photodiodes and CMOS TIA, together with own high quality circuit design and package assembly to assure performance reliability.

The molded SC duplex case and 9 pin single row footprint are standard compliant products, which allow the board designer to create a single 9 pin layout for both multimode and singlemode applications.

Singlemode ATM-155, OC-3/STM-1 Optical Transceiver, Singlemode ATM-622, OC-12/STM-4 Optical Transceiver, single mode STM-1 Optical Transmitter / Receiver, modules employ the our highly stable 1310 nm laser diode optical sub-assemblies. The Laser Diode Driver IC has built-in Automatic Power Control (APC) function. The receiver's transimpedance amplifier has Automatic Gain Control (AGC) to provide wide dynamic range.

Multimode ATM-155 Optical Transceiver

Features: Industrial standard 1X9 pin footprint, Duplex SC connector interface, Receiver signal detect function, PECL logic interface, Data Rates 156Mb/s, Single +5 V supply, Lower power consumption.

Application: Fast Ethernet, FDDI, ATM, Point to Point Links, Network Interface cards, Active Star Networks.

Singlemode ATM-155, OC-3/STM-1 Optical Transceiver

Features: Intermediate and long reach, Class 1 eye safe per FDA and IEC, Industrial standard 1X9 pin footprint, Duplex SC singlemode connector interface, Receiver signal detect function, Name-brand 1310 nm laser with APC, Wide dynamic rang receiver with AGC, PECL logic interface, Single +5 V supply, Low Power Consumption.

Applications: ATM 155 Mb/s links, SONET OC3/SDH STM-1 interconnections, Point to Point links for peripheral I/O and PBX intermode links.

Singlemode ATM-622, OC-12/STM-4 Optical Transceiver

Features: Intermediate reach, Class 1 Laser eye safe per FDA and IEC, Industrial Standard 1X9 pin footprint, Duplex SC singlemode connector interface, Receiver Signal detect function, Name -Brand 1310 nm laser with APC, Wide dynamic rang receiver with AGC, PECL logic interface, Single +5 V supply, Lower power consumption.

Applications: ATM backbones, ATM switches, SONET OC-12, SDH STM-4, Point to Point links for peripheral I/O and PBX intermode links.

Singlemode STM-1 Optical Transmitter / Receiver

Features: Low threshold 1300 FP laser, Automatic power control, Enable/Disable input, Optical power monitor, Laser bias monitor, ECL/PECL compatible, Single 5 V operation, 20 pin DIL multisource pin out.

Applications: SONET OC-3/SDH STM-1, ATM / FDDI, LANs, MANs, Subscriber loop.

Multimode Gigabit Ethernet Optical Transceiver

Features: 850 nm VCSEL, Class 1 Laser eye safe per FDA and IEC, IEEE 802.3Z compliant, Industrial Standard 1X9 pin footprint, Duplex SC singlemode connector interface, Receiver Signal detect function, PECL differential inputs and outputs, Single +5 V supply, Wave solderable and washable, Lower power consumption.

Applications: LAN, WAN, Gigabit Ethernet.

Singlemode Gigabit Ethernet Optical Transceiver

Features: 1310 nm Laser Diode, Class 1 Laser eye safe per FDA and IEC, IEEE 802.3Z compliant, Industrial Standard 1X9 pin footprint, Duplex SC singlemode connector interface, Receiver Signal detect function, PECL differential inputs and outputs, Single +5 V supply, Wave solderable and washable, Lower power consumption.

Applications: LAN, WAN, Gigabit Ethernet.

CATV Pin Module

The CATV PIN receiver modules InGaAS Pin photodiode of low noise, low distortion and low capacitance. The bandwidth is better than 2 GHz. The pigtail fiber has 8 degree angle polished ends to ensure low back reflection. The ultra compact design and low cost should make these modules very attractive.
